Modernicular Kitchen

A modenicular kitchen designed for Steve Jobs as a conceptual customer, is situated at the Rudin House, by architects Herzog & De Meuron which is at village of Leymen on the French-Swiss border. The kitchen is comprises two parts, a storage space and a food making space. The storage space contains a kitchen cupboard with a semi-transparent, light induced effect. When the lighting is on shelve contents are revealed, and when it is off the doors provide a clean, white visual effect. The design is inspired by the modern style and rounded lines typical of Apple design.
